Dreaming of Fall vegetables

While the stock market surged on like some manic psychopathic Summer festival I went out and communed with god, that old nature spirit that brought forth living green, that root of life. The tree's spoke to me, the sky in all its firmament reigned over me, and the mighty sun glorified the heavens up above - I saw that it was good. The smells of life were all around, the odor of death fleeing before it, and the early rain magically supplemented the morning vibrations. I saw too that this was good.
I pulled forth my tablets of life, a small platte of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and lettuce to be planted.
The little plants were excited to spring forth from their plastic trays eager to bear fruit and dance the Fall away in magical sun worshipping seances. I needed them and they needed me. We were all in this together - me, the plants, the rain, the sun, the Earth, the sky, the air, and the whole cosmos. I could smell the wet earth as it spread between my fingers, and I took great pleasure in getting dirty. Remnants of a long dead dissolved life invited the small plants like some kind premordial womb, it was all too magical. I patted the dirt down like a mother/or father tucks in their small children. I saw too that this was good.

The dogs, my friends, came to behold all that was pleasing in my eyes and they too approved. The ritual complete as I brought up the waters of the Earth from a deep hidden chamber made of limestone, seen only by god. All of it magical if you think about.

Death-life, they need each other too. "Be not afraid."
